I think people should wait a bit longer then 2 games on the worst team in the league (that has half of it's player out) before crowing him.

Glad he's doing well, lets see (if we can re-sign him in the off season) what he'll bring to the team next year.

Can we lock him in on a Tate like contract? Are we just a place for him to recoup some of his value for next contract with his next team? We will see over the offseason. Either way I like him as a player.

Put some respect on my GM. Stone's minimum players have all mostly outperformed their contracts vs the previous Gm which were are all trash and then instantly signed with long term contracts

 

Morey did the same thing years ago and was hailed as a genius, Stone does the same thing now and we hear whining about it because "Landry's man bad".

Rebuilding teams look to find as many diamonds in the rough as possible in order to speed rebuilding. There's nothing unique about the Rockets doing so now. When you are in this situation, you can and should gamble on anyone with upside.

 

As an aside, We really need to acquire Xavier Tillman from the ‘20 class ... then trade him for LTS.

To sign him to a 10-day ... I believe we had to request a hardship exemption for all our injuries, bc we couldn’t field enough players ... but weren’t allowed to sign a rest of year contract without cutting someone. Of course, we can still cut someone before the 10day is up

 

It's Detroit; they didn't sign Wood but took on Grant(who's good actually) and Plumlee while paying Blake Griffin.
