    He was injured and got caught up behind vets Ellington & Bullock. And then they got a new GM and he wanted "his guys."

    Khyri Thomas is a great example of a "2nd draft" guy. Guys that were originally drafted, young, and didn't work out in their original spot for "reasons." Just like Kevin Porter Jr.

    Digging around on old Pistons forum

    "2018 -- "So this team currently has 15 players on its roster, right? Blake, Drummond, Reggie Jackson, Leuer, Galloway, Ish, Glenn Robinson III, Stanley, Kennard, Bullock, Henry Ellenson, Jose Calderon, Bruce Brown, Khyri Thomas, and Zaza."

    I would think that there is a trade coming, no?
    Hoping so. We’re at the max 15-player allotment and we’ve got
    1 of the (2), two-way players we’re allowed.
    .    "

    It sounded more like they were out of roster spots and maybe ducking the luxury tax.

    Rafael Stone and Eli Witus and Everyone in the Front Office deserves credit for Khyri Thomas.

    Now can the Rockets give him a long term Contract.

    Our current Houston Rockets give this vibe:

    It makes me like them more that they have a home that's worth it to them. They do play their butts off for Silas so there's something to be said for his coaching that people aren't mentioning. Lamb is scoring 20 a game out there with 7 players playing because Silas puts confidence in him to be whatever he can be out there. When we get an elite talent that's given that confidence? I can't wait!

    The misfits just fit here: Khyri, Kevin Porter Jr, Daquan Jeffries, Jae'Sean Tato, DJ Wilson, Armoni Brooks... looking forward to seeing how these guys improve with the right star next to them and some real coaching time under their belt. Hopefully that coaching is coming from Silas. He builds up, he doesn't break players down and I like that. Encouragement is a lost art in modern society but one that's needed right now in this crazy situation.

    Very Impressive by Cayleigh, I hope she interviews Khyri Thomas.

    I want to see Cayleigh talk to Khyri and what she remembers about him in College and the 2018 Draft.
