I think all the All Stars are injured right now, except for Nikola Jokic.

I guess not working out and being overweight for Nikola keeps him healthy for 72 games.

Something is definitely wrong with weight workouts.

Yet another underwhelming season for Boston, then. How many times are they going to #runitback??

The league should have gone with dramatically fewer games and definitely fewer back-to-backs and then tried to make money off exciting playoffs.

As it stands, few of us, even diehard NBA fans, enjoyed this season very much and we get a bunch of wounded rosters for the playoffs. Doesn't sound like a good business decision.

Didn’t they have to meet 72 game regular season because of TV contracts?

I believe TV played a significant part in the decision for sure, but I don’t know the specs.

Of the top 4 teams in each conference?

Looks like PHX, NYK, PHI and MIL. I could be wrong tho.

How much longer does Danny boy get a free pass. For all his accumulation of talent and picks, he’s just never been able to make the big deal or build a legit competitor. Talk about your slippery eel.

The Celtics have been to the conference Finals three of the last 4 years. I think that qualifies as “legit competitor.”

So here is the question. If you are Boston, do now tank your way out of the playoffs and into the lottery?

4 games left. The ones against Miami and Knicks are probably losses anyways.

Just sit out Tatum or Kemba for the other 2 games and maybe 1 of the for the play-in and you can get a lottery pick, instead of being fodder in the 1st round.

Ainge is arguably the best GM in basketball. Morey can't even hold Ainge's jock (although he would like to).

He shouldn't get a free pass but he is a legend, they'll never fire him under normal circumstances.

He could step down on his own though.

They still won in 2008 and it ain't that long ago.

The KG and KB years are really not that long ago if you consider how many franchises haven't won big for 30 years.
