    https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/08/us/cyberattack-colonial-pipeline.html

“The operator of the system, Colonial Pipeline, said in a statement late Friday that it had shut down its 5,500 miles of pipeline, which it says carries 45 percent of the East Coast’s fuel supplies, in an effort to contain the breach on its computer networks. Earlier Friday, there were disruptions along the pipeline, but it was unclear whether that was a direct result of the attack.”

The convenience of internet connectivity for critical infrastructures is offset by the whack a mole appearance of zero day vulnerabilities. Who knows how long this will disrupt operations on the East Coast.

Security on this country is trash. War would cripple us through cyber attacks.

I'm guessing AOC, who wants to show how easily we can do without pipelines

I'm sure this is the "pre-determined" theory of the situation within Trump Republicans.

What % of GOP voters think about laying pipe when AOC is onscreen? I’m just asking the question.

I don't know if you have written any code, but any reasonably complex piece of of software will have security holes no matter how much time you spend on testing. There are some really smart people looking for bugs.

I don't know if this is the case or maybe someone just left some port open.

    This is very scary.

Space force should be rebranded and tasked to cyber defense.
