There is no fan base I hate more than that of the Yankees. They have the virulent racism of the Jazz, the self-centered entitlement of the Red Sox, the rank hypocrisy of the Dodgers, and the undeserved persecution complex of the Cubs ... all rolled into one fat, hairy sentient 7-11 mystery-meat hotdog named Vinnie (or sometimes Darlene, with every adjective still intact). And then you have the supposedly liberal websites and writers who happen to live in New York fawning over a team that simply buys whatever it wants and cheats with abandon while going out of their way to mock a team that actually used intelligence to compete beyond its 'natural' station in life.
