So I ran into Othella Harrington at Minuti Coffee near galleria area. Dude was so stoked that I recognized him. We chatted about his brief time here. His eyes lit up when I called him "Othella Big Fella"

He told me how disappointed he was when he was traded to Vancouver. Dude was rolling in an Escalade lol. Blast from the past during better times for this organization

Fun fact: Othella and I were at GU together. I was so excited when Rox drafted him (more excited to get Franchise tho TBH)

This season has been so tough this ranks as one of the better feel good stories of the year.

    Man, I loved Othella!

I ran into Antonio McDyess at Whole Foods once and told him "I'm still mad at you for not choosing Houston in 98-99". He laughed and said, "Good memory."

Now, granted, in hind sight, that worked out for us since he suffered injuries soon after and was never the same. BUT HE STILL REJECTED US!

Nah. I'm still mad at the dude 20 years later that he had the nerve to scrap with Olajuwon. :D

I remember when Othella Harrington inadvertantly gave someone a concussion after his knee hit whoever it was' head. Had to be carted off.

Harrington was leaning against the scorer's table looking concerned.

Lol back in the day we thought Othella Harrington was an undersized powerforward
Flash forward, we started PJ Tucker at Center!

I once ran into Mo Taylor cruising the Memorial City parking lot smoking a fat ass sweet while driving his Maybach benz .. He wanted to know "where the ho's at" LOL

his Maybach was fkin filthy too - I couldnt believe how dirty it was for being a 'super' car. Swisher wrappers and trash all over it. SMH.

I remember being so excited when the Rockets signed Mo Taylor off of the Clippers. He wasn't terrible but never took off like I thought he would.

He always seemed to score 10 pts in the first quarter with his mid-range J then disappear for the rest of the game. Very odd.

    Love this.

Saw Mo Taylor not today long ago at City Centre, but he was with a lady friend and I didn’t say anything.

Wasn't being flippant, just goofy. It was like worthy. Realizing now that it's hard to read.

Early Fall of '02. Omni Hotel in Austin. The GF is there, so I'm there on vacation, for a week-long teacher's conference. Who else is staying there? The Rockets. They're having training camp at St Edward's down the road.

Kelvin Cato was cool as ****. Rudy was cool as ****. Mo Taylor was cool as ****. Steve Goodrich was cool as ****. Cuttino was amiable but standoffish. I think I saw Francis twice in the lobby, that's it. "He gets his breakfast in his room" is what I was told at some point.

We bullsh!tted at breakfast a bit every morning, especially Rudy, he'd talk to anybody for a bit.

Tito Maddox was a complete ass. He wouldn't hold the door, wouldn't punch the button for you in the elevator, you had to reach all the way across the door and do it yourself.

Is he in shape? Could probably get us a few rebounds.
