Hi - Looking to sell a few random products. Not etsy or personal stuff creations so a little more full blown than that.

Probably direct ads in facebook, google ads.

My questions are around what checkout store front do you recommend? In past when I was building sites it was for more elaborate stuff this is just a products page.

I know there are wordpress templates and wix ,square etc , Im sure by now there is an all emcompassing shopping cart I can get on ..tie it to dba or LLC or even personal account and im good to go. Bam

Im ok with selling it via amazon as well but I don't want to be tied to amazon rules and ecosystem only. The fact they ship and do all that is great.

An example is I have some kites. Box kites, big kites little kites etc I want my own kite store. My focus is cool kites, fair price and then simple checkout shopping cart.

This situation in 2021 is nearing plug and play i hope clutch brothers might have some thoughts. thank you in advance cheers

    Check out Shopify.

You won’t be able to out-compete China on prices so you have to set yourself apart by other means.

Do some research on colors in marketing. It’s important.

Your brand should be catchy and easy to remember.

Develop a logo and color theme that are fun and exciting to engage.

Site layout is pretty much a science so just use templates rather than reinvent the wheel. These templates are developed through trial and error, so use other’s mistakes to learn.

SEO & Social Media is king for advertising.
