Wasn't the original plan to bring Westbrook in to play with CP3 and Harden? Also remember a report where Morey told Harden the deal wasn't happening and he was okay with it. Tillman is the one that forced it. What other good players are you talking about? He's played with exactly 2 good players Dwight Howard and Chris Paul. And even then Chris Paul was terrible his second season in Houston. Dwight also fell off a cliff and became fringe NBA player. Stop taking things out of context. Hardens biggest issue is they didn't pair him with a player his age where they could play and grow together. We kept getting aging all stars. You do know that his entire time in Houston exactly 1 other player made an all star game? And that was only for 1 season.. Since Houston Chris Paul has gone vegan and it seems to be helping him a ton because this is not the same guy we saw in 2018-2019 when Harden was a one man band. Not something Rockets coulda predicted cuz he sure looked washed up. Although I was never a fan of the trade because CP game will age better than Westbrook's.
