he’s smoking the ball but not getting the home runs. A lot of sharp singles and doubles. Hopefully he starts lifting it a bit more soon ... but he’s the last guy I’m worried about.
He's got a traditional 5th starter inning eater vibe about him. Edit: not sure if that is a fair assessment. Just the vibe I get.
Oh I'm not worried either. It's just funny how things are sometimes. Recent stat said Yordan was the first player since year 1900 with 30 HR 90 RBIs in first career 100 games. Pre-1900 was Deadball, so either 1) stats weren't kept properly and/or 2) major cheating/corruption was happening and/or 3) Alvarez is a completely awesome hitter. No Yordan worries from me
