Sterling Brown showed him the way to the Booby Trap.

Have him stay away from Brown. Dude seems to be in the wrong places often.

He should be hanging around Augustine, Olynyk and the Keynon Martin family during the off-season. Him and KMJ seem to bond really well and it seems like KMJ was raised really well.

Also it seems like KPJ is bonding with Bradley. He's also a good veteran presence.

    KPJ salvaged the Harden trade.

People cant say the Rox didnt get anything from Harden cuz picks notwithstanding if Allen didnt arrive in Cleveland thanks to the Harden trade KPJ wouldnt have been tossed aside to the end of the locker room.

Whats funny is I'd take KPJ easily over Sexton, Okoro or Garland lol.

Why would any real Rocket fan seem pretty sure Porter is a "bad apple"?

I also have been having good thoughts and hopes about Porter Jr. hanging our with the Kenyon Martin family.

First of all, Brown was at a drug store, hardly the "wrong place." The cops didn't like the fact that he parked across two spaces in front of the store, and that's why they decided to talk to him. And I guess it's too much to question whether it was the cops who escalated that situation, since cops never do that with young black guys driving fancy cars. And twice is often?

Also, "Have him stay away from Brown"? How does that work, exactly? You can't tell an NBA player who to spend time with, especially regarding a teammate. Stone: "Okay, Scoot, we've drawn up a list of teammates you are NOT to hang with. If we hear you've been with someone on the list, you'll be in big trouble."

I do agree with that, to some extent. Oladipo has been a bad move, but he deserves credit for Wood, KJM with a 2nd round pick and KPJr. Tate is Weaver's man, but Stone didn't say no. I hope he has learned from this big mistake. Boogie wasn't a bad move for a veteran minimum. I think Stone realizes the need for size. He did acquire KO . TF and PF control everything. They are the biggest impediment to progess.

I agree with all of that to some extent:

Stone I believe is on record for being a fan of Oladipo and wanted to bring him to Houston prior to this season. Supposedly offered Dipo extension. Does not fit with Wall.

Kelly Olynyk: I proposed trades for Kelly in the trade threads. I knew he would be great in the Silas offense. You know how I feel about defense. Nobody plays defense in the, some less than others. I could have made that move. Stone kinda stumbled on that deal in trying to get Dipo to Miami.

Kevin Porter. The 5th game I saw KPjr vs Bulls I wanted that guy. Cavs were using him wrong. It was a no brainier to me. I applaud Stone on the no brainier low risk high reward move. Bravo
I would have done that no questions asked.

    Wood was recruited by Harden.

    Tate Weaver guy.

KMjr.......is ok. I'm not big on 6'6" power forwards.
I want my SF's to shoot better from distance. But it's his first yr. I wouldn't have drafted him but Stone did. Bravo, reminds me of when the Rockets drafted Qi as a favor to Yao, or Gary Payton as a favor to senior. Or Vince Edwards as a favor to someone?

The best thing for kpj growth is to get rid of wall. I can't be the only one that has noticed that Porter plays much better when wall doesn't play

I even notice this the first week Porter play with us and it's true now

I understand he needs to grow as a person this summer and not get into trouble I understand he needs to work on his 3-pointer and handle but....... I'm telling you he is more of a point guard than a shooting guard he's kind of like Damian Lillard and I'm telling you he just doesn't fit next to wall....

If they needed attach a first-round pick for a wall to get rid of him or a buyout they need a deal that this is a problem

Plus not only that but John Wall is a terrible player you guys call him a tank commander that can't be good next year for the morale of all the young players that have a player like wall bringing the whole team down to lose he's not doing our purpose he just sucks

I don't think a team will take him even with the first round pick attached so the buyout is the only option I wish someone would do it because wall is going to bring this team down the next two years

And God forbid we win the first pick in the draft in draft cade Cunningham then what are you going to do with wall?? Knowing this team they would probably bench Cunningham and play wall 30 minutes a game for Cunningham's rookie season

But even if we draft Mobley I want wall gonr he is too much of a ball hog

In the third pick in the draft will probably be jalen green and he would be great next to porter as a shooting guard so we need to get rid of Wall no matter who we draft unless wall is willing to take a position on the bench .. which i don't he would cuz he thinks he's the shet on the court

Yea we can't create some narrative and take the humanity out of it. Butler is deadly competitive, spent offseasons where he plugged off and just worked on his game and it showed. He also has acting aspirations, traveling, etc and just as a human being has other interest.

I remember Brian Scalabrine did a draft interview with Jarret Allen who spoke of his love of building computers and Scal admitted after the interview his thoughts were don't draft that guy. He turned out ok.

MJ famously went gambling all night even in the playoffs, no one can or will say he isn't devoted to hoops.

These guys also don't work at 9-5, there main time is the night, the sleep schedules etc are different. KD got piled on for saying he gets up 8/9 to get his skill work in and people laughed, but most people don't end their job 11-12 at midnight either.

Harden as well. They try to paint him as someone not committed, but he isn't an elite athlete relative to the NBA, he is a skill player and him adjusting his game is not an accident. He puts the work in to maximize his gifts and talents.

As of Right now, KPJ went from a Lottrey talent to falling late because of personality issues, he then got traded for almost nothing for...throwing food at his manager.. but he came here went to work in the Dleague which isn't an easy adjustment, and now he is showing his skills and I just hope he doesn't let go of that focus and keeps building on it because he can be special. Not many guys can be a playmaker, get shots like him. He showed a harden flashback last night and houston needs the hope.

if he fixes his form (his arm angle is awful) his 3pt% would jump from bad to good in a hurry.
