Biden's push to raise corporate taxes to fund his infrastructure bill garners the support of voters. Republicans have attacked that worldview, arguing that unified Democratic control of government has resulted in too much liberalism, with Biden's governance being painted as a liability. However, nearly 100 days into Biden's first term, most voters seem to hold the opposite view and the GOP has been almost powerless to stop him.
This is what is so messed up about politics. Partisanship is seen as a zero sum game and even if it's things that you know are helping your constituents and that you've previously supported you can't give a win to the other side.

Don't these things take a huge dive when money is tight because nobody can afford to spend on them? I know after 2008 a lot of collectibles and cards have yet to even get half the money back they were sold at before 2008.
Ya I don't see how banning the sale of menthol cigarettes will result in more incarceration? As long as the ban doesn't translate to making the use of menthol cigarettes a criminal offense I'm okay with this. I heard menthol cigarettes are even worse for the lungs than regular cigs. Edit: just looked it up and menthol in itself isn't bad for your lungs but it does ease irritation of ciggerete smoking which means it's easier to down a pack quicker and causing more damage due to smoking more.
