    SAN ANTONIO - Two men have been arrested after allegedly stealing lumber from a construction site.

    Erik Maldonado, 25, and Christopher Gutierrez, 24, were taken into custody by Bexar County Sheriff's deputies after their truck was seen leaving the construction site with stolen items in the bed of the pickup truck.

    This happened on Sunday in far West Bexar County on Gaucho Court.

    Deputies were able to find their pickup truck and performed a traffic stop near the intersection of Westwood Loop and Lone Star Pkwy.

    The 129 pieces of stolen lumber were still in the bed of the truck.

    Maldonado and Gutierrez were arrested and will be charged with felony theft.

    The stolen lumber is valued at $2,964.60.    ​
