I'm surprised by not just the OP, but others on this board that have no clue of how the 1st pick is obtained. Even if we have the worst record doesn't mean we end up with the 1st pick in the draft....
No they need to sit him! And we don’t need to make the playoffs next year we need to be terrible next year to!
Honestly, no. Its franchise over everything for me. I'd be heartbroken if the Rockets left Houston. But with every passing month I'm not sure if Houston can get rid of McNair of Fertitta any other way.
You do know NBA changed the lottery 2 season ago. The bottom 3 team have the same odd at #1,2,3,4 pick right?
Even if the Rockets strike out in the lottery, there's still no way of determining that the outcome was predetermined by the NBA due to Tilman's personal politics. That outcome has a 48% likelihood, statistically, without requiring an iota of intervention from the league. Making it all about TF is foolish, much like the way posters here try to make everything else about TF.
T Wolves in a worse spot than us. Hopefully GSW don't get another high pick. Imagine Suggs coming off the bench behind Curry.... Or a Wiseman Mobley Green big rotation. That would destroy me.
I'm OK losing this one and the rest except Portland. I'd like to beat Portland. If it comes down to a coin flip, I trust the owner will do something right for once and have a goon intimidate the NBA into freezing one side of the coin.
