Adam Silver doesn't like the Rockets. Scott Foster will Rig the Lottery against the Rockets Rockets get the 5th Pick - Send it to OKC Rockets Select with the 20th Pick
The NBA hates the Rockets, but the last time we were horrible and got a great pick we ended up with Hakeem Olajuwon as our main guy, so there is some hope. The biggest problem with the lottery now is that the worst teams don’t have that much of a greater chance to win the top 3 picks as they used to in the past. As bad as the worst three teams are, they should get the top 3 picks of the draft. Also, how bad was that CP3 WB trade? I actually defended the trade when it happened but I was upset by how much draft capital we gave up bc that was not worth it IMO.
Yeah they should rockets just suck, its not even funny, its so obvious there out there tanking. They deserve Cade, from the embarrassment this year. and having such a young developing team that cant hang with the rest of the NBA. Comon!
I take comfort realizing we're the biggest market at the top (bottom) of the board. Whatever the NBA does behind closed doors, having a major market land a #1 pick like Cunningham is a potential windfall for all parties. So I will henceforth be referring to our chances at the first pick as "14+%"
Oh, we gettin #1 now! .....OP is self-medicating with positive vibes. #KeepTanAlive Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
Last thing you need to do is sit Wood. The Rockets need him to take a big leap forward next year if they seriously think they can be a playoff team in two years. It doesn’t really matter at this point. The Rockets will have the same odds either way. I hope to see some growth and promise from KPJ and Wood these last 10 games.
I dont know .. the Young Guns and the Great White Hope might luck into some wins - they have the talent and on some nights it comes together. John Wall was the tank glue.
I believe we will get the #1 pick this year. I can feel it. It's only right after we did a solid to a lot of star players this season.
Don't remind me. I never liked that trade. I felt like we gave away a great player whose playing style (but maybe not personality) fit better for another great player but who was on a worse contract and did not contribute as much to winning and then we lose two draft picks in the process. I wouldn't have even traded CP3 for Westbrook straight up. I know James and CP3 had some disagreements but we lost the trade big time. As it turned out we lost both guys.
Actually if we receive the 5th pick in the lottery (and it happened today) we would have the following picks: 16th, 19th and 24th.
I believe this is the MOST LIKELY scenario. The league really does hate the Rockets and with it gone into full reta@rd marxist woke mode, they are going to stick it to Tilman for being politically conservative to guarantee his team sucks and they can slander him and hopefully push him out as an owner. This is a guarantee.
