I cannot believe none of yall commented on the stacked green haired cosplay/onlyfans/insta chick sitting behind the plate, next to a very large guy and an old man.

Getting back on track. Feels good to have one competent pro sports team.

I did some research. He's spent his life in the following:

    MO (born)
    Kansas (HS)
    Arky (Uni of)
drafted, then BFE minor league towns in
    Kentucky
    Florida
    Alabama
    ...
Then he gets to experience civilization in Durham, NC at the age of 25, then Tampa and Miami.

It all makes sense now. I love this guy on the mound.

Wouldn't have a clue. As far as I noticed she never stood up to show off her chestal stuff until the last strike of the 9th inning when the whole crowd got up.

Nice win. Still leaving too many in scoring position.

Those look more like the odds at the sportsbook.

Crashed early yesterday and had to watch the recording.

Outstanding trip through the rotation this time. I'm still bullish on the starters, but even at their best this is a group that is routinely gonna require 3-4 innings (or more) out of the pen every night. We really need somebody besides Stanek and Pressly to start doing some consistent work because this pen is gonna be in the game a lot.

Now that the offense is finally healthy, this team is usually gonna score enough runs to win games if the pitching does it's job.

I liked Urquidy's outing. A real nice bounce back from his abysmal Rockies start. Really good to see. We need him to pitch decently (not great necessarily) this year for us to have a chance as well.

Altuve's hitting when he's not swinging at a pitch in the dirt or over his head, is a thing of beauty btw. Welcome back GOATuve.

    Nice win.

When Urquidy, Javier, Greinke, and LMJ pitch well, it is tough to beat the Astros. At some point, the Astros will not be the most injured pitching staff among average or better teams.

Has Seattle called up their prized prospect yet?

After they do, will they be in the same place (lineup wise) that the Astros were post 2015-2016?

It’s still unlikely that they’re close to being able to compete for an AL west title... but they’ve seemingly got some talented young players that have already started their service time clocks and I’m not sure what their ownership’s plan is if they’re not optimizing the current young lineup with some proven and slightly more expensive options (Padres model)? As far as I know, they have a decent TV deal... and that market does usually attend games/support winners.

I’d be frustrated as hell if I was a Mariners fan... but maybe somebody who follows them closer will tell me that they are in fact about to turn the corner.

I'm really excited about the Javier start tonight. He's keeping his velo up throughout his appearances and his swinging strike rate is over 13% this season. If he could just get a few more quick innings to extend his appearances he could already be a very effective SP.

He already is a very effective SP. If he goes deeper, he becomes an ace.

He’s also projecting to be a very effective/elite relief pitcher.... that can be dominant for 3 innings. His numbers do decline 2nd and 3rd times through the order.

Between him and LMJ, the Astros have two guys that everybody see’s their potential for being dominant bullpen guys... but there’s just so much more value in terms of wins when you can pitch 5-6 effectively/consistently.

    Agreed.

The bullpen roles starting to work themselves out. 7 - Abreu, 8-Stanek, 9-Pressly. Paredes would probably be the 6/7 guy if he’s back/healthy... or later if one of the others need rest. Taylor may be the odd man out for now and needs to have more than one good pitch when he comes back.

If he can continue to maintain his velo as he has done so far this season I think he'll be much better two/three times through the order than compared to last season. I think further developing a third pitch would also do him a lot of good in that regard.
