"treasonous" may be a little tough to walk back. Middle-aged, affluent white men with multiple revenue and ownership streams in partially ad-dependent media may want to stop b****ing about information apparatuses initially built for, by and catering solely to their precise demographic and perspective.
"Treasonous" fits because once can be considered a mistake. They gorged on Presidential coverage clutching their pearls blasting his **** nonstop, then for four straight years swung on tightly to his saggy teats in the form of "liberating America from his (not-)Hiterlike clutches".
