I don't know what he's going through right now, but his punk ass ain't on the field and it's been a long amount of time.

 

But would that be smart? Verlander did that and now he's missing this season. Wouldn't it be better to do the tjs now so he's ready for next season(be available near the end of the season)? Imagine he waits and ends up needing it, forcing him to miss next season as well. Paying him and Verlander all that money for 3 starts lol.
