At this stage, let's just win some games and not piss off the players with manipulation. Pay the man later and move on.

The bright side is he'll probably get demoted once we get Baez,
that was a borderline strike! I don't care if Trout honestly thought it was going to be a slider, this is starting to happen too often.

Just give both he and Framber the Roy Oswalt buyout arbitration years extension, and possibly get an extra year/2 that way.

    This would be preferable.

Though, Astros could game 10-day in minors rule by having someone go on IL if that doesn't work out.

Astros control Framber Valdez through the 2025 season. He will be 32 when he hits free agency in the 2025-2026 offseason. Don't know that they need to rush to extend him.

Javier is a different story. It would make sense to lock him up and try to get a few years beyond his arbitration eligible seasons since he will still be in his 20s when he would be a free agent.

The Angels highlights were a foul ball homerun and Trout sticking out his elbow for a HBP

Think crazy with me for a sec. What if for the last Astros home game of Pujols career, the Astros play a tribute video with the 63+ homers he's hit here, self deprecating humor. Pujols bobblehead night,. Astros still won that Cardinals series and won a world series 12 seasons later. I've always disliked Pujols but the propaganda can't hurt. It'll make headlines around mlb.

Yuli hits Heaney well, everybody else not so much in minimal ABs.

Glad Diaz is ok after his special slide last night. For the haters, he's slashing .385 .500 .538 1.038 vs LHP this year.

Wish he could play RF. Mostly joking. Mostly.
