Sadly, this is a case where the cop does not really have time to investigate that. How does he know who is the good / bad person? I know we want to hold LEO to high standards, and we definitely should, but we can't expect them to be perfect. Unless there is dispatcher recorded evidence that gave him a clear description of the bad person, I don't think he has time to make that judgement call and all he can see is that someone is about to hurt someone else.

It sucks man. I can't imagine that cops put in these kind of situations want it to end this way.

Some definitely. Too many buddy cop movies and delusions of grandeur.

The mentality of "get some" in infantry in the military where grunts are dying to see combat and get their combat action ribbon transfers over to law enforcement when they join the force.

There is ABSOLUTELY never winning in taking a life, agreed..but he also faced criticism regardless of choices in that ultra spilt second ... if the cop did nothing, or pulled a taser that might be slower to deploy (if he even had one) and the girl stabbed and killed the other he would get just as much initial ignorant criticism we saw him receive as a cop that stood by and wouldn’t make a life saving decision to save a person of color ....
he literally had to make a split second decision based on imminent lethal threat to a third party

Really? Isn't that the point of his Cleveland high school he helped raise funds for and build?

That's what makes people like you racist. You see violence in this community as a black culture issue rather than a socioeconomic issue that is a result of this:

"Median Value of Wealth by Race FF(03.11.2019) | Tax Policy Center" https://www.taxpolicycenter.org/fiscal-fact/median-value-wealth-race-ff03112019

Lebron isn't s well informed person. He does shoot from the hip and say some uninformed things and I hope he apologizes to the officer to make sure people back off the officer.

But thar doesn't mean Lebron doesn't care about inner city violence due to poverty and less opputuinities.

I'm not saying anyone in this thread specifically is.

All you need to do is go on every single other form of social media to see we're living in a clown world.

But when you've got LeBron James being the lowest IQ person in the world and sharing that platform with hundreds of millions who love him... it's no wonder.

Imagine claiming racism when a black girl's life was saved.

Why is Lebron the lowest IQ person on the planet? Why not someone like Donald Trump who has directed hate at Individual humans thousands of times in his jingoist rallies that literally resulted in people attempting murder on those people?

Also even though what Lebron did was wrong, can you not have the basic level of empathy to see how the black community has experienced thousands of straws breaking thousands of camels' backs where these knee jerk reactions could form? Is that basic level of empathy not capable for you?

Who defends their home by chasing unarmed girls out in the street and trying to stab them? Stopping not even when the police comes?
If you defend your home, you stay in your home when the intruder leaves and wait for the police.

The only way I would excuse her was if that pink tracksuit girl had just killed someone inside the house, so she lost her mind and went after her with a knife at hand.
But then again the policeman had to make the best decision with the knowledge at hand. And the best decision is always to stop an ongoing murder attempt.

I think any normal person would instantly see that this was not a home invasion situations. This happened on the side walk with a bunch of people brawling and many others just watching for fun, and one girl somehow pulled out a knife.

I heard the background story went something like this. The Pink girl and friends went to the dead girls house calling her out to fight. The dead girl and her foster dad came out to fight them. (That's why you saw him kick a girl in the head in the beginning of the video).

I think someone must have overreacted and gave the girl a knife which is just when the officer showed up. Just an absolute **** show of a situation

    Garbage logic.
If we also eliminated all murders from total deaths, 99% of deaths would still happen. So that means we should say and do nothing about stopping murders.

If a black murders another black he will be arrested and sent to prison.
If an american policeman intrudes into a black woman's house unannounced, murders her they just get off scott free.
Oh wait. They get a fine for "public disturbance"

Sorry mate, I mentioned LeBron James for something directly relating to this thread.

No need to go on your deranged tangents thanks I'm not once talking about Donald Trump.

No I don't have any empathy for a drug addict criminal who was overdosing being killed.

No I don't have any empathy for a 13 year old kid out at 2am tossing away a handgun being killed.

No I don't have any empathy for a 16 year old kid about to murder another kid with a knife being killed.

Bring up some innocent people being killed, black, white, yellow, orange, and then I will care.

As for criminals? Nah you're right I'm not capable of any empathy towards criminals.

So how is he the lowest IQ person in this planet and why can't you understand how these knee jerk reactions formed given history of this country?

You can just make more reasonable takes like Lebron did something stupid and should apologize rather than your deranged extremist take.

Hey, Hey mate! Don't go burn down a building please.

Extremist take? Hahaha Nah. No thanks. LeXiao has said plenty of low IQ things to make a scrap book out of.

    Shh. It's ok though.
