What do people think about alt coins? V.1 [discussion]

Whenever I get ready to order. Sometime early next week. I'll let you know when we get closer.

 

Was planning on seeing what the dip looked like. Figured if it was low .20s I'd get some.

Now I've got seller's remorse and I'm hoping it does dip.

 

Ok cool let me know. I would need a few days / week turnaround .

it would be nice if doge went back up to 40 cents by then grin

 

Yeah there was no art this week and now im stuck at high 30s.. im up still but should have gotten out of course. Hard to do that when shooting up. Eventually this would happen

Its all good and i set this aside like vegas money but would be fun if could be something

 

Put some of my profits and some Bitcoin back into Doge at $.27.

WTH, we'll see what happens.

So what happened earlier... I’m imagining that’s a tiny taste of what Crypto winter was like but obviously way worse in terms of the crash and it lasted for a couple years after everything dropped by 80-90%? I wonder if people who were around for that had ptsd flashbacks.

Yesterday you said “when they crash they all crash together”. I Didn’t think I’d experience it the very next day lol. Saw all my gains quickly dwindle by the second and I’m just sitting there watching it with no money to spend on the the clearance sale. Scary how fast it can all be gone in an instant.

 

Haven’t heard that one. I thought it was related to one of these.

I will hold but respect to anyone gettin' profits man. I would sell above .3 and rebuy under.... maybe do it a few times. If I wanted to play the buy sell game right now.

 

Yeah now this 4/20 push is happening im staying.

My son is young and birthday is 4/20 he keeps asking what the deal is with 4/20

 

I do see some key timeline events coming up for DOGE which will happen in months or years to come:

• Coinbase eventually accepting it
• the .69 cent / 1 dollar on 4/20 meme push
• the $.20 on 6/9 meme push
• Elon putting it into space/on the moon
• Amazon or other large companies accepting it

 

Those are good.
I know nothing but it seems like maybe some new comers like me that got in on latest run at mid high 30s and low 40s that have no choice but to hold

 

Can you expand on the $.20 on 6/9 push?


Coinbase and Amazon will take it to the moon. I think it's got an outside shot to become the bitcoin of the outsider.

 

I know jack squat about economics but I find it interesting that bitcoin has a finite number and doge adds new coins every minute.

That seems to be one of the negative talking points against dogecoin but I see it like this too - cash money depreciates so doge is possibly more functional than bitcoin?

With bitcoin price rising it lends to holding, stagnation (dead) whereas with doge because its a depreciation coin holding is like cash so it needs to be spent. If you have spending then you have a functional economic situation with flowing cash..

Again i dont know jack but I keep hearing how its a "joke" and yet lots are jumping on the joke and guys like cuban are cleaning up..good for him hes a billionaire if i was him i might do the same..in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he is one of the people buying in and is pushing around the value. To be a fly on wall for the backside of what some of these whales are doing. Cuban is smart enough to know to prop it up.

So with that in mind the big negative I havent heard much anyone say is that apparently one person entity holds 25% of doge.. not sure how true that is.

To me thats a bigger concern that person sells and then massive sell off and we are back to 3 cents. That alone makes ethereum and bitcoin more attractive. Then again if this satoshi fellow emerges and sells all their bitcoin then all bets are off anyway right?
