Do we own that pick or is just a swap?

We don't own it. We could own it if OKC dumps it on us if we don't get a top-4 pick because OKC controls the Miami pick and they have swap rights with the Rockets.

I went to RealGm to play the first round on current standings. To my horror, the first pick went to OKC from our Rockets. I didn't make any choices and came back to the comfort of the BBS.

Green has some fire to him.

Greg Brown is 6'9 and like Jalen Green, is crazy explosive.

Where would Kenyan Martin Junior and Tate be Drafted if we did a re-draft?

    Are they both lottery picks??
    I think so

Jury is still out on all these kids, but its fun to think about. Actual draft:

    1. Timberwolves draft Anthony Edwards
    2. Warriors draft James Wiseman
    3. Hornets draft LaMelo Ball
    4. Bulls draft Patrick Williams
    5. Cavaliers draft Isaac Okoro
    6. Hawks draft Onyeka Okongwu
    7. Pistons draft Killian Hayes
    8. Knicks draft Obi Toppin
    9. Wizards draft Deni Avdija
    10. Suns draft Jalen Smith
    11. Spurs draft Devin Vassell
    12. Kings draft Tyrese Haliburton
    13. Pelicans draft Kira Lewis Jr.
    14. Celtics draft Aaron Nesmith

Right now, it looks like Toppin, Smith and Nesmith are the obvious drops. I think KJ Martin could slide in to the tail end of the lotto in a re-draft (other rookies like Anthony, Poku, Stewart and Quickley would prob get picked earlier too). Not sure about Tate. Love his game, but he's 25 years old.. then again the Mavs picked 27 year old Bernard James at #33, so Tate is probably a mid-late 1st.

I wanted to pose this question in this thread as well...

Anyone care to do the math? The Knicks had the worst record in 2019, but ended up with the third pick. The Warriors had the worst record in 2020, but ended up with the 2nd pick. I’m thinking that if there is a 47.9% chance that the team with the worst record will end up with a pick outside the top 4...and it hasn’t happened yet...we actually have a higher than 50% chance of conveying the pick this year...Meanwhile the Cavs ended up with the second worse record last year and ended up with the 5th pick...so I’m thinking we need to fight to get that 2nd worse spot!!

Interesting. I’ll save someone the time, whatever Adam silver wants. Until they show us the lottery... it’s def rigged. I’m surprised Knicks have got screwed all these years.

just praying we get a dam pick, because if we don’t.... worst year ever.
