    Was surprising that the team gave McCullers an extension with his up and down performances in recent time. He hasn't quit been able to put it together due to inconsistency, injuries, etc.

    Interesting Straw has the 3rd highest contact rate and 3 lowest chase rate in MLB.

    That's really what's needed except the contact has been too weak and not enough "hit em where they aint."
