Over the summer I was thinking a lot about George Floyd's life and mine. We're only a few years apart in age, both grew up in Houston and both ended up in Minneapolis. Growing up I was pushed into magnet and IB programs while he was pushed into sports. I was thinking about how different our lives might've been if where the expectations of us even as young children might've been different.

Step outside this BBS and ask yourself what you're genuinely curious about and then read about it. For fun. Try it. Can even get the **** for free off libgen most likely and then find a text to speech app with an orator with an easy to listen to voice on the Google Playstore. Again for free. Plug in some ear buds and turn your epub or pdf book you downloaded into an audiobook and listen to something worthwhile. You clearly have the time to do one to two sentence rants on this message board while at work. May as well learn yourself something while getting paid on the job instead of just dicking around here. I'll bow out from this thread cuz' you do the same **** for years now with your posts. It's like listening to a band's discography and finding out they only had one sound. Yours is the dumb **** you say in threads like these.

If you prefer scientific articles but don't have a subscription to some sites that require it, you can bypass that by going to sci-hub and copy/pasting the paid subscription based website link and have it provide a free to download link of the article you'd otherwise pay for. You're too lazy to read **** off the first page of Google much less dig for the good interesting stuff though. That's why you strum the same chord.

I believe none of us need further demonstration that @pgabriel won't be reading any of the articles linked or bothering to dive into the issue about which he claims to be so concerned.

These threads have a pattern.

1. Pgabs makes a dubious claim.
2. Others can't believe he would make such a seemingly unreasonable claim and ask for clarification.
3. Pgabs doubles down.
4. Others point out the logic flaws in pgab's argument.
5. Pgabs starts claiming he never said things he did.
6. Pgabs is provided proof and also shown evidence contrary to his claim or supporting other's arguments.
7. Pgabs starts cussing at people and spouting things that only barely make any sense at all.
8. Repeat stage 7.
9. Repeat stage 8.
10. And so on.

 

And still not one quote on your argument. But thirty posts on pgabriel

You obviously haven't. You have no idea whether we are talking about gifted students or not. It seems likely that you are not understanding by what is meant when speaking of the term 'gifted students'

 

As someone that says the black community should have more accountability for themselves and their children's education, you sure fail to live the example you expect others to aspire for by being too intellectually lazy to even read some links on the first page of Google. No one can hold your hand and make you research the topic you rant over. You have to do that yourself. Be the change you expect out of others bro. You can do it. You can read. You're doing it right now even. I believe in you. Now take this sentence and open a tab and type in some keywords on your favorite search engine bro. You got this!
