She did not directly tell the mother that... here is a synopsis

The Zoom meeting wasn't properly ended, so the mother and her son heard the entire rant and recorded it.

"I mean these parents, that's what kind of pieces of (expletive) they are. Black. He's Black. They're a Black family," the former teacher is heard saying. "Your son has learned to lie to everybody and make excuses. Cause you taught him to make excuses that nothing is his fault. This is what Black people do. This is what Black people do."

I think she was talking to whoever was in the room with her.

She's doing that thing people do where they talk to someone and go "So I told them 'you blah blah blah'." she thinks the video call is off when she goes "This is a no show the entire year right..." that's when she starts, describing her work situation to whoever she was talking to.

Funny thing about it she, the teacher, even says that the mother has been calling the school the entire year...it sounds like the mother called the school complaining that the teacher wasn't keeping up with her son (We don't know if this is true) but she's suing for negligence and this is probably why the teacher is mad because she feels like this mom is trying to get her in trouble.

Classic taking out of context. I even say forget she is saying all black parents, it's more of an issue with black parents meaning you see it with all races but more with black parents

I'm not backing away from that but I'm not saying all black parents even acknowledging in the post she is wrong for saying all so not excusing her comments either but not caring. My bigger issue is momma

There are plenty addressing racism. We need more focus on internal issues for zillionth time. We have been stuck for fifty years because all we talk about is racism

The article I read from the OP says:

Looks like we're reading two different articles so you could be right.

I mean I provided the context for that back and fourth, I cut out thatboynick leaving the conversation but that was the entire thing...but let's leave that alone then, you worded your thoughts extremely poorly and you meant to say something like "This is more of an issue for black communities..." or something rather than "Black parents don't give a ****" whatever....

The 'issue' you have with the momma is worse because your proof of her being a bad mother are stats that are not relevant to her specific situation.

Imagine you getting arrested for weed or something and imagine the reason being "Well, statistically more black people go to jail for it so I guess you fit the bill, off you go!" and let's say you were completely innocent...Would that be fair?

Bro I've said plenty times in the thread this is an issue with poor blacks. Not all poor blacks but a big reason the cycle of poverty persists so excuse me for not clarifying every time. As much as you seem to follow me you should know it by now

Yeah, it looks like she was retelling her conversation. Still, did she actually tell his mother that what she seems to be quoting herself saying?

The person that she's talking to needs to be looked at, too. It says something that she was willing to talk to him or her like that. Never heard even the most frustrated teacher talk like that

    That's the thing...I don't follow you.

I don't take anything personal here. I've been in the dnd for years, I'm a vet here, and despite going at bobby to the point it made people sick here I still like many of his posts and have cordial back and forth with him. I don't follow you, I just remember every time I interact with you it is about this.

That still doesn't address my question though of you denigrating the mother based on stats but whatever at this point I guess.

I wondered that too, the person she was talking to must have been someone she's comfy saying that to. Personally, I think even if you take out the race thing the teacher is being unprofessional. I mean I'm sure the kid has lied lol, that's what kids do and I'm sure the kid has made excuses when something goes wrong...kids do that too...but while I know it's not the teacher's job to teach the kid accountability and honesty I would hate to learn that a teacher thought my child was a dishonest liar. I'd rather the teacher just talk to me about what they lied about...but obviously this teacher and parent weren't communicating on any level. Sounds like a year long grudge between the both of them.

I don't think the lady is lying. What makes you think she would be ranting on a random parent?

I read that same sequence and I see it as the different clips that the lawyer provided that occurred after the teacher thought the zoom call had ended.

I get a response at about 70% lowest hispanic but over 50% and whites and blacks about 80%.

I never have parents ignore me they respond by the 2nd or 3rd time I contact them.

    @JayGoogle

I apologize for not proofreading this. It's horrible. That being said one point I tried to make is I hear black people make racist comments about all others all the time behind closed doors

In not addressing internal dysfunction in poor homes and acting like whites are the only racists when some random person gets caught on tape you represent a mind boggling arrogance with us considering we are the ones always b****ing about needing help

A preconceived notion given that she has the biased belief that black people don't take responsibility and just complain and make excuses.

Given that she believes that going in, I'm not going to trust her judgment and statements without more evidence.

Her claims of getting call backs isn't about judgement. Either she did or didn't. Albeit there is no reason to, nobody clas she is lying about the facts of the call, in particular did the mother respond to teacher outreach

This isn't limited to just whites. I have heard Asians, Indians, Middle Easterners and Hispanics say the same thing.

There are just a set number of people across all demographics that feel this way.
