When Jake,Framber get back and Baez, Javier are pitching out of the bullpen the pitching staff will look much better. Looks like the Joe Smith signing was a bust.

Baez,Stanek,Javier,Pressly pitching the 6-7-8-9th will look much better than what Dusty has been running out there so far this yr. I dont get Dusty's infatuation with Raley.

Bregman with a rest day. Dusty doesn't think having 4 days with no games within 13 days isn't enough rest.

Just looked up how badly Tucker is doing. 182. Yikes.

And yet he’s still driving in a lot of runs. He’s hitting into a lot of hard outs, have to imagine the average will start creeping up toward the mid .200’s pretty soon.

He has 3 home runs in 8 games and his BABIP is .115. He hasn’t been great but he’s hit the ball hard and had very bad luck in a small sample size. He’ll be fine.

He's looked pretty good to me.
Alot hard hit balls and a pretty good approach at the plate.

He's also been facing an inordinate amount of LHP so far (9PA vs RHSP and 28 vs LHSP)

Correa's 110mph laser misses clearing the fence, barely, and Canha holds him at 1B

Good thing Montas has a big ass. Not Scrubb level, but big enough for that line drive

Straw wanted no part of Correa after he saw what Correa did to Chapman.

Straw only tries to hospitalize Altuve on those plays. It's a fairer matchup.

Yuli hitting balls up the middle tells me he's locked in. Same feeling when Altuve attacks/ambushes first pitches, Bregman turns on an inside fastball, Correa goes opposite field, or Brantley/Alvarez healthy and in the box.

    Absolutely right.

Correa had the right idea and put a good swing on it last inning, just missed a gapper or HR.
