I could be down with Boston in the 20s. He would basically be more like a 2022 pick as I'd think he would spend next year in the g league and weight room. But he could pay off in a big way if he puts it all together.
Jaden Springer from Tennesse Jalen Johnson from Duke Zhaire Willams from Standford Cam Thomas from LSU Kai Jones from Texas I think these guys are great building blocks for Wood, and Porter. Also if the rockets are lucky enough to get any of these 2 plus either Suggs or Green, thats if they dont get Cade, you still could call it a great Draft. If Rockets Even get Suggs, Johnson, and Cam. That would be Pretty good. I dont see any these players dropping in the 20's but if they do like draft.net says rockets will be really lucky. Dont know but id also watch for possible steal at Center if they pick 33 in 2nd round. Maybe one of those big centers fall out into the 2nd rd.
Yeah if u can pair Cunningham/Suggs with whoever drops from Keon, Jalen Johnson, Kispert that would be such a huge W for us
This is definitely the most I've ever heard about a draft with like 40 games still on the schedule. Crazy how much season is left.
I doubt you guys will answer this but who is more handsome , giddy or krispert.. I say giddy. Plus his name is cool. I can see already his nick name.. every time he makes a basket I can see us on clutchfans saying "giggidy giggidy" lol
I have heard big men take longer to develop so start there. Always take the available if in the tier player go with the biggest one. Sharpe would be a God send if he were to fall to us.
Nevermind I basically re-posted what I posted on the previous page. Too many roster building threads!
As my good friend @saleem once said on Clutchfans, "What are we running, a Hospital?" We can't be running a, "Day Care," either......not if we intend on keeping Porter/Wood. Tate, Kenyon, plus two late 1st's are too much clutter and diaper changing. Rockets have to keep roster spots available for free agents/buyouts. Unless the Rockets draft Euro-stash player(s), don't expect the Rockets to use both late draft picks as is. Possible move out of 1st round may occur. Morey mentored Stone and that's what Morey would do with this rebuild
This is a REALLY good draft btw. Just wanted to throw that out there. Late first in this draft is basically a late lottery in many others
not really. every year people want to say the draft is deep etc. This draft really isn't that deep. And there's only a small handful of players that have any legit potential of becoming at minimum an all star. When you get to the mid/late lottery picks right now already, there's a bunch of not so impressive players
Who is that? I think each year is extremely unique with how the talent is distributed. Last year was bad @ 2020. 2019 was better. 2021 won't be as top heavy has 2019 but will be deeper. 2013 was notoriously bad outside 1 mid-first rounder.
you name it, from media outlets to random folks who just see a few youtube highlights. 2021 isn't that deep the 2013 draft outside a mid 1st rounder still has a number of guys still in the league and many of them have carved out some nice contracts for themselves
I agree. Me personally, I only see maybe 2 allstars in this draft. It's really only a role player draft.
