You get the exact same odds for top 4 pick as long as you have a bottom 3 record. Rooting for competitive games here on out, which means young players are developing, vets are increasing trade value, and win just enough to remain in the bottom 3.
this team is gritty and has a lot of dog in em. We've gotten accustomed to thinking for the playoffs and thats a big adjustment and refreshing for this young new squad to show out. There are exciting things to come hopefully in the next couple seasons and at the same time, so long as we stay in that bottom 1-3 spot(I believe same percentage for the pick at that point) then its good to see some life in the toyota center and can't help but be happy for Silas.
I told CF's Wall would be better next season while feeling healthier; but why show it off now? And WTH Silas, restricted minutes means 31 minutes? I was thinking pull Wall at the 26 minute mark
No vets increased their trade value last night. Wall is still the worst value in the league, Gordon didn't play, House didn't play, and Augustin went 1-9. Winning just enough to stay in the bottom 3 is ideal, for sure. But that is awfully close to winning too much, in which case this whole season would be a waste. So for that reason, I cannot bring myself to root for Ws until we have the bottom 3 rank secured.
While they had the lead with about 3 minutes to go , I was thinking "its alright , Wall will shoot them out of the game" .... Unfortunately Wood , Olynyk , Tate & KPJ were having none of that. That's enough W's until we clinch a bottom three record .... plz , K , thx.
That is possible, for sure. But I think it's unlikely. Sign and trades used to be common but they were made largely irrelevant in the last CBA. How many sign and trades have happened in the last 3 seasons? Has to be fewer than 5.
I crossed A Bridge Too Far early on this season....to a place I've never gone as a fan. Nothing has changed. While I like to see growth in our guys, the objective should be the same.
Any time you win it feels great.....even if it lessens your chance at a high draft pick. The Rockets need to know what they have moving forward. The Rockets CAN'T LOSE...If they go on a win streak, we know they have a good team moving foward, minus EG, NWABA, HOUSE, $$ in Free agency and 3 FRPs this yr. If they lose, they will get a top pick, plus 2 other FRPs, plus EG, NWABA, HOUSE and $$ in Free Agency
