10 days will be re-assessed . Hamstrings at his age is no joke. Soft tissue injuries for athletes at over 30 is a red flag to slow it down . They need to sit him for atleast 3 weeks to heal. 3 is the minimum.

The fact is he never should have came back so early to aggravate a slight inflammation into a strain to begin with

The being durable and healthy streak has to come to an end eventually.

Him being Wolverine and Superman wasn't mortal.

And surely wouldn't extend to 3 franchises.

Harden missed just 3 games when he had a grade 1 strain back in 2018...he was out for about a week

he missed 7 games in 17-18 due to a grade 2

LMA and BG don't look washed. They look like legit number 2/3 guys.. Even without harden they are east favorites and probably Finals favorites. If both harden and kd go down they might lose. I think as long as 2 out of 3 are healthy they should be the favorites.

Some people thought those buyout signing didn't change anything. Now they know it matters a lot. Injuries happen. These guys can step up big time to hold the fort while the stars recover. This is especially important in the playoffs. Besides, people quickly forgot how the supposedly washed Rondo helped the Lakers win a championship.

Aldridge is still a walking 18-8 a night player. As for Harden he suffered a grade 1 strain which is pretty bad. It’s common with people who already have a slight inflammation and it goes if you over do it.

I’ve had it it’s not really overly painful but once you go for a jog you will feel a tightness. The Nets will keep him sidelined for a month or minimum 3 weeks if they are smart

I still can’t believe I’m seeing this starting 5 line up correctly:

    James Harden
    Kevin Durant
    Kyrie Irving
    Blake Griffin
    LaMarcus Aldridge

Would anyone have ever thought this could have happened to Harden literally the same season he would end his career with the Rockets?

You're not seeing it correctly 'cause Griffin doesn't start lol.

Hell of a 6 man though. Imagine if Dinwiddie was healthy.

They've got a lot of talent and they are an offensive juggernaut . There is no good way to guard them. Their weakness is in the interior. LMA can't switch on pick and rolls, he can hold down some blocks though but is slow footed. Their regret was trading the 1st or Shamet, that first could've been used to keep Jarret allen and would've probably made them bonafide contenders more than they already are. Somehow we witnessed Brooklyn take the leap in branding, success, culture right over the knicks. Good for them.

Trading Allen gave them the minutes to develop Claxton, who is more versatile on defense (and quicker footed). Claxton can lock up players that Allen couldn't, although Allen is for now a superior rim protector.

Claxton has potential and shows flashes, but the nets are in win now mode. Development is not the primary agenda. They can come up with a scheme for the perimiter, let alone that Allen is showing more comfort for shooting and is an especailly bold rim protector. They could've kept claxton developing, not played him or used him as insurance and he is still practicing allen each day as well during their individual workouts. Playing is the best way to develop, but not the only one. When they signed the guys they did they have 2 years to win it all at this point and every man on that roster knows it. Thats why even LMA said he didn't come here to be an all star, they all have to make sacrifices and Claxton's development is far from the priority. but I do agree he has shown some great flashes and is useful, but Allen would be a massive difference maker, doesn't need the ball, and cleans up the boards and blocks and lets harden and kyrie take any gamble they want.

It is funny to watch how the media's tune changes for Harden. Harden was giving this solid performance throughout his years in Houston but the media brushed it off saying how this is unsustainable in playoffs and undermined his MVP performance year after year. Now that KD and Kyrie are playing alongside Harden, they are all praises for his individual performance and because they are poised to win the championship.
