Since 1982 after millions of dollars of audits by the GOP to look into fraud, 1000 convictions for voter fraud have occured out of one billion plus ballots casted. And it's extremely easy to detect fraud btw.
Your reading comprehension stays poor. Your brain is the one that has been spammed by leftist allegations.
1 death too many. We need a federal registry of firearms and their owners along with every sale even private such as father to son going through strict background checks.
Bahahahahah pinball to something totally unrelated to the topic at hand. You actually work against your own point when you do that whataboutism thing you like to do. You new name here is Mr. (Mrs.??) Whataboutism
If only you cared about voting rights that appear 20+ times in the constitution as much as gun rights that appear once. Finding ways to restrict voting and place voting results in the hands of partisan decision making is fundamentally against the US Constitution.
Solid argument. Are you for or against drinking alcohol, because at least one person has died because of irresponsible drinking by another person?
There are laws that prohibit driving impaired, just like there are laws that protect against voter fraud. Not sure what your "a ha!" moment is here.
Yes and those laws are proficient in catching fraud. Also voting is a fundamental right of a US citizen and when it comes to voting restrictions, the way our federal courts determine the validity of them is that if it interferes with the rights of a single voter, the regulation went too far because of the nature of it being a fundamental right.
I started a thread on a topic worthy of a closer look, and to hear what the leftists have to say about it, and verify the absurdity of it all. Verified.
Since 2013, after the Supreme Court rulling that southern states don't need federal approval of any election regulation changes anymore in their state due to a Civil Rights act provision that prevented Southern States with a history of racial voting supression from making changes without federal oversight because "racism is over", thousands of polling stations in these states like Georgia shut down coincidentally in urban minority districts drastically increasing wait times. Why are wait times important? Because people who are poor and do hourly wage work have less time on their hands. For the low wage hourly worker, hours matter a lot when they live paycheck to paycheck. Hours determine whether rent, healthcare bills, utility bills, groceries, gas etc needs are met for the month. Increasing wait times to vote by hours disproportionately effects poor people more. You might think it's trivial because you lack basic empathy skills, but that is a you problem and we don't base reality off of your lack of empathy.
So we should have no laws?? Your logic and thought process on this whole thing is garbled as all hell.
What part about not being on the voter roles prohibiting you from voting do you not understand? What part about an outside group like True the Vote being able to contest and throw our your vote prohibiting your vote do you not understand? Again... no, we aren't fortune tellers so we don't know exactly what the Georgia GOP will do in the future.... but we now know they have given themselves more power to do it... and that should outrage anyone who cares about Democracy which you surely do not.
