"All the skills are there for Evan Mobley to be an offensive juggernaut on a nightly basis, but it might not happen immediately. His defensive prowess should help out a team from day one, and the Rockets are in serious need of a defensive anchor."

Evan Mobley will be the best rim protector Houston has had since trading Clint Capela. But because of Mobley’s fluidity and athleticism, he will be able to switch on defense and guard players one through five, at a supremely high level.

With Kevin Porter Jr. already playing like a building block for the future, it will be great seeing two former Trojans connecting on some athletically insane alley-oops off the pick-and-roll.

Strange 'fact' for the article to highlight, considering all we've had since the Capela trade was Tucker. And that's its only been 1 1/2 seasons.

The defense is definitely the major problem. But that's to be expected when you're dealing with so many new players and lineups.

Love Tate, but he's a high end bench player on a championship team.

Depends on where we pick. It's a tough choice between him/Suggs/Kuminga for a rebuilding team if we pick 2-5. Never draft for need in the lottery, I believe in that mantra.

Really only top 4 picks matter

    Cunningham
    Green
    Mobley
    Suggs

Those are what I think our top 4 picks should be in order.

    Well he had him 4th?

Out of the top 4 we lose the pick.
At 4 I would go for Suggs - who else is there?

    1. Cade Cunningham
    2. Jalen Suggs - Could become the best player in the Draft due to 3 point shooting in the NBA and Court Vision.
    3. Evan Mobley
    4. Jalen Green

Mines similar but swap Mobley and Suggs.

Interested to know whos peoples consensus next 3.

Barnes, Moodey and Kai for me. But that switches every day.

Awfully ambitious of the write to assume KPJ can make a lob pass.

Which indicates he'd be passing to his own teammates, and not straight into the hands of the opposition.

    I jest I jest.

I dont think the Rockets want Evan Mobley to be paired up with Christian Wood.

Yes Evan Mobley can shoot 3s, Maybe on Offense and Defense they would not fit well.

Evan Mobley I think will take a longer time to be develop, Mobley and Wood playing together.
I cant see it, Rockets dont believe in Two 7 Footers Playing together.

Cade Cunningham and Kevin Porter Jr. would fit well

Jalen Suggs and Kevin Porter Jr. Suggs is a smart Point Guard that can shoot 3s, Porter playing Shooting Guard.

Kevin Porter Jr and Jalen Green Look similar in Speed, Athleticism, Dribbling

Evan Mobley plays with his twin brother who is also 7 ft tall. Don't give him all the credit

I prefer Mobley over Green just because stretch big men are more valuable and we see a star sf prospect almost every draft. Otherwise I agree.

CWood too old to be part of Rox timeline to begin with. Mobley is close to KPJ age so both have the same timeline.

Easy to say Mobley is a beast. All of his highlights are over children, who are like 2 feet shorter than him.
I DARE him to grab a single rebound facing Kelly Olynyk
