He was on the postseason roster due to the extra player allowance, solely for pinch running purposes.

He's got a chance to be a solid bench OF (maybe more, stranger things have happened) - very dependable glove at all 3 positions (1 OF error in 2200+ chances in the minors), good arm, good speed, good eye at the plate, has never really hit all that much in the minors though (but his '19 season between CC and RR was his best by far).

I know they’re not our main rival, but beating the holy s*** out of the A’s feels so damn good

Going to the ultimate white flag in the opening series. That is the sign of a pure ass whoopin.

And Altuve may hurt himself trying to hit these middle school fastballs.

I think the most pronounced example of this is Big Puma. He had two vastly different swings, and, I believe, he credits his swing from the left side being better due to the repetition of seeing predominantly right handed pitching.

Sounds like a perfect back-up outfielder. If he keeps hitting, he may replace Straw as our CF.

Having a big lead helps but good job by Bielak to not screw up and allowing the bullpen to have a rest.

After this showing, I fully expect the A's to use the covid tap out for next weekend's series.
