Better than BMac, in Silas system.

Not only can Snipa shoot lights out from downtown, but he can also attack off the dribble without being a turnover machine AND play iso defense.

Being an effective triple threat is critical for Silas version of 5 out.

But most importantly, Armoni is another dog in that HOUnds 2nd unit defense.

Not great ball handler but he is not turnover prone, unlike BMac.

Great move. Ben M. was taking up a spot that he lost a while back. Glad the Rockets are giving Brooks a chance to play. Maybe the second coming of Aaron Brooks?

I wonder if Armoni deciding to play for New Zealand hastened the demise of Patton and BMac.

    Just glad it happened.

Averaged 13.4 ppg and 6rpg for the 2019 Sweet 16 Coogs. He also shot 39% from 3 that year.

Seemed weird it was announced Armoni was signing with a French team a few days ago and then all of a sudden, "no wait, nevermind, he's not". Wonder if this had something to do with that?

Having Aaron Brooks back will provide some great leadership and experience. How did he time travel back to the age of 22? Give me some of that hot sauce baby!

Nice move. Now drop Exum and go get Josh Reaves. Reuniting KPJ with his old GLeague superteam.

Exum is decent sized expiring (unlike BMac) so still has value.

Lamb should be the one released.

But I'd rather sign Gerald Green, need to return some of that H-Town love.

The bad jokes are endless: "a good fit", "suits what the Rockets are doing", etc...

Yes, I agree. In a normal situation Lamb would and probably should be waived. But we are not in a normal situation and Lamb, despite how people feel about him, is still just a rookie. On a tanking team. They have nothing to lose. Play all the young guys heavy minutes.
