Awesome. We absolutely need to play those guys next year. Yes, everyone but the HOF knew this for years. I mentioned Roy because he retired yesterday.
Today is game day. The Final Four pregame show starts on CBS at 1 pm. Three hours of hype leading up to main attraction IMO UH vs Baylor. Should be a great game. Baylor is favored but who knows. Things have been lining up favorably for us so far. With a lot of effort and a little luck and better than average shooting Cougars may pull off the upset. That's what I will be hoping for anyway. Later game, Gonzaga vs UCLA I don't have much of a feeling for. I really don't care who wins. Gonzaga is heavily favored. I am sure we will hear repeatedly during the pregame show how all of the basketball experts will be predicting a final match up of Baylor vs Gonzaga. While that would be a great match up both UH and UCLA are in position to have a little to say about it. Fingers will be crossed hoping Cougars can stay out of foul trouble in finding a way to keep the lid on Baylor's high powered offense. They need to continue to crash the boards, play with poise, hit their shots, make their free throws, and play a near perfect game all the way around. I think that is what it is going to take because Baylor will be the best team we have faced all year.
CBS Sports is just awful, I hope Houston and UCLA pulls this off and make those basketball experts look stupid. They've been sucking Baylor and Gonzaga's **** nonstop.
Baylor is whipping UH. I somehow think Gonzaga, who has not lost a game is going to destroy UCLA who's got this far with one dude.
Neither team is giving the defensive effort that Baylor gave the COOGS in the first half. Baylor might win it all.
What a game this 2nd one is! After all that UCLA still trails at the half. That late foul on "Timmay" might turn out to be critical though. After he got his 1st early UCLA was going at him, even jumping into him trying to get that 2nd. I want see Gonzaga win tonight, though I'm not sure who I would root for Monday. Usually I don't like to see the team that beat us get rewarded, but we have that connection with the Drew family.
