You still need a Bachelor's degree to enter an alternate certification program. It's not like they didn't complete 4 years of college first.

The revenue in 2008 was only 4% lower so it clearly proves it's not women's tennis being a female sport that makes it less profitable or popular but other circumstances that have changed since.
Furthermore the tennis tour isn't a fixed league and it depends on the amount of tourneys. All you need is to start more WTA tournaments and the revenue will rise.

Sure because of dunking but since there are examples of equally profitable sports that there is still a paygap it's easy to see that there are also underlying sexist reasons- as is in the rest of society.

When the bball or football male players' salaries have ballooned to such a degree that all of them are multimillionaires it is ridiculous to ask for equal pay when the womens' leagues produces not even half the profit.

It would be interesting to see the sportswomen salaries/sponsorships and income in other sports like volleyball, beachvolley or olympic sports.
It won't be surprising that there is a pay gap there too.

As a viewer I have no interest in watching women's bball or tennis because I don't enjoy it as much (because of the obnoxious screams in women's tennis) but in other sports like volleyball and especially olympic sports I have equal interest and entertainent by both and a pay gap would be inexcusable.

    Speaking only of athletes:

NFL players get 48.5% of revenue

How does this relate to other leagues?

The women's basketball game is unexciting, If they lowered the rims to 9 feet, I think it would be much more exciting to watch - and draw more crowds.

Do you understand how independently contracted performers with professional agents, separate collective bargaining organizations and additional individual promotional value negotiate for their portion of "where the money comes from?" Something Warren Moon did every other preseason is being reframed as henpecking.

Private teachers go to private schools either because they prefer a smaller or more communal student body, they want a less regulated environment to transitioning into teaching from a different career, are racist or religious nuts who want to spread their garbage to the next generation, or because they were an alumnus or alumna of the private school in question. There are additional benefits like housing, tuition and admissions waivers for your kids and paid sabbaticals; but coaching multiple sports every term, running a dorm of dozens of underage kids seven days and nights a week and still teaching multiple classes to a level that ensures 100% graduation and college admissions for your cohort mean you're definitely getting paid less for doing more.

Nothing that a private school teaches that colleges or universities want from a student is not being taught at public schools or their local community college. That combined with the sheer number of public versus private K-12 campuses means all of the best colleges, hardest degrees, and most prestigious careers and leaderships roles are largely peopled by public high school and state university grads.

    Maybe but
They don't want to do that because then the idea would be their game is not equal to the men's game.

Based on my experiences in this world.... if I get a redo.... I’m picking white male again.

Why would I want a higher difficulty level?

Does the wnba have the same television viewership as the nba?

Do you understand salaries in all major sports are directly tied to RV contracts?

Compensation is not an honorific, it's a return on firm revenue or a hedge against losses and opportunity costs. Leaders and senior staff in each of these fields are paid well. Educational outcomes are the byproduct of multiple factors, and the biggest obstacle is economic and racial segregation which create vastly different learning environments and social rewards for academic accomplishment. Policemen are as well compensated as their union and public trust allows.

That didn't stop them from using a smaller ball.

I would say that lower IQ and lack of parental involvement both trump economic and racial segregation as obstacles to positive educational outcomes. Very smart kids with parents that involve themselves in their child's education tend to see positive academic outcomes regardless of the quality of school their child attends. Varying school quality being tied to racial and economic segregation is a good argument for school choice though.

Why? They play with a differently sized ball to account for the physical differences.
