Hmm...when I was there I tried to use my MC and the checkout lady said I had to use debit. She may have been a poor communicator. Good to know, thanks!
Stuff I looked at was like for like and the cost was about 15% more on the average. I suppose I need to try their perishables to see. I do like their mixed nuts, though. They have pistachios.
I’ve now traced where you live down to a 2 mile radius. Next time I’m at J Henry’s I’m going to look for a helicopter.
Yup it is a particular kind they have. Tried the ones at sams etc and they are not even close to being as good. Amazon has them but they are way way overpriced compared to Costco. Try them out it may sway your decision hahah
Costco has better exclusive stuff and it’s just a nicer environment but the Sam’s scan and go app is worth it alone. **** that waiting in line nonsense. Also why does Costco’s self check out machine not have a scanner attached to it? You have to take everything out of your cart to run it over the scanner. Including the ****ing water. If the one employee they’ve deemed worthy enough to hold the scanner isn’t busy then you can leave the 50 roll of paper towel in your cart. Costco does a bunch of **** right but they annoy me. I expect Sam’s to be trash. That’s why they give you the app so you can check yourself out and get the **** out of there. Keep the Sam’s.
Costco offers these services that Sam’s doesn’t Auto purchases referral Home/auto insurance, Car rental
Costco all day. The service is fast, the items are better, the sales are a lot better and the godamn chicken bake!!!! Polish cocks!!! I mean hotdogs are so mouthful bruh! Sam's is ghetto, hell no!
I have memberships to both and disagree some of the stuff you said about Costco. How is corporate being more people friendly a con? My Costco has self check-out but no app, however Costco checkout is much more efficient though all the Costcos in my area are 3 to 4 times as busy. Costco accepts all Visa cards Prices are actually the same or lower for the same quality stuff. However Costco is more upscale so they tend to carry higher end stuff. Sams Clubs in my area are dark and gloomy and poorly laid out. Costco is a much nicer shopping experience other than the crowds One thing is for sure. The people that work at Costco are much friendlier and actually seem happy to work there. Their employees just don't quit. I still see people who were first hired when the local Costco opened up in Austin about 20 years ago.
Costco doesn't have a race to the bottom vibe you get at a discount retailer. The only throwdowns are for samples, which I'm sure people deeply miss post-covid lockdown.
Costco...fresh fruits are much higher quality...they have better frozen fruit and more variety as well Costco just has more stuff and better quality IMO I live right next to a Costo and Sam’s Club, and there’s a reason Costco is always packed and Sam’s isn’t only thing Sam’s has over Costo is a cheaper membership
