Exactly, you can basically add 3 young rotation players, or trade two to move up into the lottery if there's a player they really want higher up. Regardless, it won't be the end of the world.
I'm terrified that they win 5 or more out of those 20 ..... they are a much better team than their record suggests when healthy. Their problem has been keeping their best players on the court rather than the trainers table. Remember before CW went down they were .500. Now add a healthy CW and another functional big man in Olynyk .... they are better than that team that was .500 22 games into the season. We better hope Wall shoots us out of most games and Silas figures out how to piss away a few more so we stay in that bottom 3.
The only way the Rockets can **** this season up is by not getting a top-4 pick. That is it. That is the goal. Anything else would be uncivilized.
I want a top 4 pick and being able to tap into the trade and FA markets .... We've got a load of picks to work trades , we'll have flexibility in the FA market ..... now we need that prime draft piece to develop into a star player. After you get that star on a rookie deal , that's when you start looking to add superior talent via trade / FA.
If you look at the next 24 games, they play merely all playoff teams. This team might grab 2 wins. 15-57, ties Warriors worse record in losses from last year, and i think wolves are going to string 4 more wins and get the 2nd worst record 16-56. But the wolves are so terrible maybe they might just get 2 more wins for 14-58 record, just to spite the rockets. lol Both teams are terrible. What if both teams tie what happens? Id assume who ever wins the April 27th game will not get the 1st rd pick?
There’s only 25 games left. This team sucks and the rest of the season schedule has mostly playoff teams. There is no such thing as some win streak to be concerned about. Folks out here still trying to tell themselves this team can win games and consecutively lol
Is this team better than the one that started the season 11-11 and won 8 of 10 between Harden getting moved & CW's injury ? .... I think it is . They can win some games , probably more than we'd like them to.
not really but if people still want to worry themselves out for little to no reason feel free. especially when the 2nd half of the season schedule is much harder than the 1st half. They have a losing record with wood playing post harden trade. He isn't saving this team, he never was
The Rockets have one of the strongest closing schedules in NBA. I would find it every difficult to go on a winning streak. Hell, we let the Timberwolves go on a 22-0 run to end a game with them. Just play Porter, Wood, Tate, and Martin.
Good news is the NBA loves the Warriors and wants to give them all the help they can get. Since they own the wolves pick if it falls out of top 3, you can bet the rigged lottery will have the wolves fall. Giving us a better shot!
