You always go for talent rather than need. You absolutely take the best talented player then figure it out

I'm still going with Cade at the top. Green at 2, Mobley at 3. I might change my mind later on, but that's what my limited fantasy "GM" mind tells me to do.

I'm leaning Mobley as well. My concern is how he seems to get covered in the low post and his frame doesn't help him much at this point. However, the college and pro games are different and he'll have much more space to operate in the NBA. He should also begin to fill out more as his brother is a year older and thicker than Evan.

I don't see him as really a project, he's already got above average skills in just about every area you want. I just think he needs to grow into his body a bit more.

If history serves me correctly, when we get the #1 overall draft pick, we select big men (Hakeem and Yao)...you guys better get on this Mobley train.

And why isn't Mobley in the poll for this thread??.....Casuals

dont get it twisted I'd be screaming from the rooftop if we got Cade as well (He's Grant Hill reincarnated)

I realize Kuminga is much less of a sure thing than the other guys, but I really like him. I would be very happy to grab him at 3 or 4 if Cade and Mobley are gone.

I agree with others that you draft for talent and not need, but I can't remember the last time the Rockets had a versatile true SF that wasn't just a shooting guard playing the 3.

And guards that can deliver him the ball on the move and in a position to score. You don't have to be a low post beast to dominate, especially in today's nba.

Except for when we selected a guard ... who is currently our lead assistant coach.

Cade is 6'8...so you can essentially play Wall, KJP, Cade all in the same lineup.

They all can handle and pass...well, Wall passes when he wants to...but I think Wall, KJP, Cade, Tate, Wood is an exciting young lineup.

Simple solution: Draft Cade at #1, then hope Mobley and Green drop down to us in the 20s. :D

Ha! Should have clarified with "Recent" history - I was not around in 76 to witness the lefty being drafted number 1

Green looks too small and Mobley is too thin. Cade and Suggs are NBA ready

Let's hope he will bought out by the next trade deadline. He should join other ring chasers.
