The fans and city of Houston deserve better than a person who is essentially a polished fish monger. Vote yay if you're ready for the check. Vote nay if you want seconds of what he's been servin' up.

I voted NO even though it’s clear that TF is a penny pinching poosyassmotha****a. It’s too early to call for his head.

I respectfully disagree. This has been an absolute **** show and our franchise has been setback a decade. If he didn't screw things up with Morey and Harden we wouldn't be in this boat. At least get something in return for a prime asset like Harden. We are a laughing stock.

I am not a fan of Fertitta, but I don't think a bunch of fans voting "no confidence" is going to make any difference.

He is not an elected official or the CEO of a publicly traded company, he owns the team. He can do whatever he wants, unfortunately, unless he runs afoul of NBA rules somehow.

See @Os Trigonum ... this is an ineffective use of "Did I stutter?" like I was telling you about. Comes off flat after a "wut", ya know?

    What a brilliant thread.

Without doubt this will make a significant difference to the franchise....

No. Sorry. He inherited a 65 win team and f'd it up in three damn years. Tilman did not have enough liquid cash to buy and run a championship team before the pandemic. Sell the team, fool.

It is crazy how quickly the team disintegrated after he bought it.
That's his pattern though- buy a restaurant and then significantly drop the quality for cost savings.

    Frittata is total crap...

but I think the org has been a total dysfunctional narcissistic meglomaniac mess long before he arrived and a full on culture overhaul was in order... maybe thats why Les decided to get out of Dodge and sell high b4 the house of cards fell in... and whose to say if a culture rebuild is actually gonna happen...

    but...

    A) Shoulda spent the cash to try to make that system work when the opportunity was there... instead of jettisoning assets for LTS... never did really have to worry bout that repeater tax now didja Tilly...?

    B) With the assets we had, we shoulda been able to retool - or even move Harden - in a more beneficial way that could have kept us relevant... total scorched earth shouldnt have been necessary imo...

but the sad part is... Tilly was probably right - financially...

Just a few years ago we were talking about repeater taxes as we layered CCs contract on top of Hardens ubermax and toss on CP3 max deal... and everyone is clamoring for more more more... spending assets like a drunken sailor on WB... then eventually Covid hit... had Tilly been goin full throttle as so many wanted he'd have even greater financial woes...

Yeh, he tore down a 65 win team... may have cost us a chip or maybe 2... undoubtedly hurt the present day value of the team... but if he's looking to keep the team long term then that value will rebound - and he probably saved himself a crapload of money in the process...

As a fan I'm appalled... but looking at it all financially - i understand...

    smh...
