Pretty impressive that they were able to lose playing without wall

Unfortunately he isn't "that franchise guy". He's too dependant on other guys finding him perfectly or else he just gets pushed around.

That's why it was dumb for people clamoring to get him the ball.

Wood is phenomenal when you get him in the right positons. And down right horrendous when you force feed him in the low or high post and expect him to iso and create.

We are not looking to win so why not give him more touches. This season is a perfect opportunity for him to improve his post game.

Channeling Tmac - not the right Rockets Legend maybe since he was out of the league a few years after saying this.

The only way he improves his post game is by building muscle mass.

He needs to improve his low post footwork, in the off season with a coach. This can't be done without gaining muscle mass.

Doesn't Wood saying "if I want to be" indicate he acknowledges that he's not there yet?

If you're saying he won't be, that's so short sighted for a player who plays both ends (20/10/2) and has played less than one full season of starter minutes. He can certainly improve with experience and practice for the next 2 years.

The way that leaders improve is with trial and error, they're not classroom or obedient people. Excellent that Wood is thinking he can be a foundational piece with more experience.

I’m a big Christian Wood fan, but he’s going to have to become more physical in games like this and not expect to get bailed out by the refs. He was getting pushed around pretty good and then pouting when he didn’t get he calls. He has a right to be frustrated, but he let it take him out of the game. They got in his head. If he wants to be great, he needs to fix that like right now. I said it earlier in the game thread, he might not be strong, but he has some pointy ass elbows that would hurt like hell if he’d learn to throw them. He needs to be more physical in games like this one.

Yeah but the Thunder beat the Raptors who actually have a worse record than them.
After tonight okc - 20 wins, tor - 18 wins.
You would think that tor. would be assured of several wins in the east but Lowry didn't play tonight so that might affect things going forward depending on the reason.

House needs to be with his family. It’s unimaginable what his family is going through. A senseless tragedy because some bozo decided to drink and drive

Agreed 100% and that's why I have some confidence we might be able to come out of this firesale in OK shape if Wood just stays in the weight room all summer.

All he has to do is lift weights . . . . over and over and over and over again . . .

Fingers crossed he spends most of his time in the weight room this off season opposed to the hardwood.
