YES I DO WIN LOSE OR DRAW this team will be good once they get it all together. KPJ is fast becoming the star player that he was drafted so high to be.
I watch bits and pieces of almost every game. I don't have the motivation or energy to watch the Rockets for 2-3 hours in a row, but I like to check in to see how they're doing as much as I can.
Something I took for granted. I'd race home from whatever event, tell my friends no spoilers, and watch the game on league pass. Was one of the things I would look forward to for sure. Now it's just occasional viewing whenever I am free with basically no urgency.
I can’t force myself to watch anymore. It’s too painful and I can’t even lie I miss Harden. Even at his worst it was amazing to watch. This is just pathetic.
Only post halftime most of the games. And only to see how young and new players are developing especially Wood & KPJ to see if they look like the Rockets future and hopefully they turn into stars. I do not expect them to win this season obviously as we need the top draft pick. As much as I like the home team to win, there is innate fun to watch players develop into stars. I remember watching Kobe, Tim Duncan, Yao, and Steve Francis starting from their rookie days and developing into stars and some into legends. If you love basketball then winning simply becomes the cherry on top.
Me following the rockets closely ended when Harden was traded. I'm 40 years old now. I've seen it all. Been through championships, Barkley/Pippen years, Franchise, Yao/Tmac and Harden. I've followed every game, every season, every statistic. But now I'm honestly just too old with too much going on in my life to pay that much attention to what's to come. My time has passed, it's time for the new generation of fans to take my place and carry the weight. I'll be around, casually passing by to see how the team is. Once they start winning I'll happily get back into them I'm sure. Morey and Harden were really the last hold ons for me. Its time for me to cross into old man territory and just sit back and watch. I'll always love the Rockets, I'll never leave them. I'll just watch from afar now.
I’m in AZ so unless they play the Suns there is zero chance I get to see them and no way in hell am I paying for LP to watch this catastrophe.
Can people that don't watch any games at all put that in the signature so I know not to give a **** about their opinion regarding the Rockets?
