Yup both teams are fully capable of giving the zags a run. They’re elite on both ends of the floor. UCLA on the other hand is getting demolished
UCLA has a little more street cred, so if anyone can beat the Zag on's and Zag off's it's them. They won't want to give California to the Zags. Overmatched on paper and on the court, but this will be a street battle for the state. They will have some motivation and UCLA always has talent even if it doesn't live up. Of Course, that is what USC said too.
If Cougars make it vs Gonzaga. My money is on them. They got the defense to hold any of the guards on Gonzaga. U of H needs to score better from outside next game.
I'll say this, whether Baylor or UH gets to the title game, that will easily be the best defense that the Zags have seen all season long, with no real close second.
yup not only that but Baylor has the firepower to match up. UH has the clear rebounding and defense to matchup with the efficiency on offense. Both definitely have a shot at the Zags The thing that sucks is they're able to wipe the floor with UCLA in an easy game while Baylor/UH is going to be a slugfest.
Gonzaga, Baylor, Houston, UCLA in that order right now. Gonzaga is so far ahead of everyone else, but if they have an off night, and Houston or Baylor are on their best game, either Texas team can beat them. Houston has that elite lock down defense that can beat anyone in a tournament situation. Baylor has the defense and the offense. I don’t think UCLA has much of a chance at all, but anything can happen I guess.
