So much for not breaking down in tears today -- that was a tough read.

Yeah, I wouldn't get anything pre-made in Krogers, it's just a ran down chain.

The stores are old, falling apart, dirty, the employees always look rough, the produce is often spoiled, bruised, and rotten, many items on the shelves are well beyond the expiration dates, the cans and boxes always look like they've been run over

The only reason to got to Krogers is becaise it's 24/7, to get a 3 am snack.

That's a shame. The West U Kroger was a very nice store 10-20 years ago when I shopped there. The eyecandy selection was top notch.

No, it isn't "ghetto good".... this is more like imagine the fried chicken that Wal Mart makes on a Monday, and still hasn't sold on a Wednesday so they ship it off to Kroger on Thursday.

you have to know what to order and the secret codes, kind of like In-and-Out burgers but more complex.

I put Kroger and Randalls in the same tier...2 places I would never do a full on grocery shopping at

I did go to Kroger at the start of the pandemic because they actually had toilet paper, but that was all I was looking for there

it’s Costco and HEB for me...Walmart is usually too dirty...my 1st ever job was at a Walmart back in high school, and people are just disgusting, that’s all I’ve gotta say

Kroger is on track to become another Randalls.

    HEB is dominating.

It's really amazing that Walmarts fried chicken is that bad I can't imagine Krogers being worse.

Brookshire Bros has great fried chicken by the way.

I liked those as well but when I revisited them and they are definitely meh.

My go to were the BBQ chicken chunks but they were also hit or miss but if you are high that **** was great.

Actually it all depended on the cooking freshness.
