OBJECTIVELY: Kelly is not a horrible player. He has some useful skills. Can help the Rockets Subjectively: I think he is a dirty player. Cheap shot artist. What he did to love was unforgivable. Rocket River
Kelly Olynik is a solid backup player. He would have been useful if Harden was still on the team and we are contending. Now I don't really see a point. He's going to get minutes though and do relatively well
that’s what I’m talkin bout .That series was great . JR Smith vs Jae crowder we got hornacek as a coach . need to bring back Beverley if we had a little more evil in us we prolly woulda won . Either we’d have hurt someone on the other team or it would be used as a threat to make the refs call the game fair . james is getting undercut on his stepbacks with no call ? Ok , next time curry touches the ball dive at his knee . MDA too nice . James too nice . CP3 was a demon , but he was too important to us To risk him being the enforcer .
I’m all for this, I just am going by the rockets playing style this year that they will be centers...wood and olynyk can fit well together I’d much rather trot out wood and olynyk (or Wilson) as our starters
Here's my interesting comparison. Look at the rotation players that were playing during that 6 game winning streak. Wood Cousins Tucker House Tate Nawba Olidipo Brown Wall Gordon Mclemore Out of those 11 lost 3 players After the 2 trades the rockets gain 5 players Wood olynyk2 Patin Tate Wilson3 Kmartin jr exum House Brown Nwaba Bradley1 Porter4 Mclemore Lamb Wall Augustine5 Gordon I know porter was on the team, but he wasn't playing. When I look at the team as it is now they're better.
Not sure if serious. The Nets have no draft capital to trade. The Magic want/need picks. Dinwiddie is also older than Gordon, and he's coming back from an ACL tear. The Magic don't need an older, injury-prone guard on their team, and they definitely wouldn't want to trade their most valuable asset for him.
Why would the salary matter? They are over the cap and dinwiddie can't help them this year anyways... Honestly if you just thought things through before attacking you would look a lot better on these boards...
DRocks position is that Dinwiddie and other expiring contracts would be enough for Gordon because Orlando would have dinwiddie's bird rights to resign and make a cornerstone of their rebuild... I said it would take picks... that's what was reported... he's mocking me for calling Olynyk a backup big and temp starter the rest of the year... so i remind him of his dinwiddie love... the player no team was willing to trade for and Brooklyn will likely let go for nothing...
So Blake signing + Dinwiddie Bird rights is more value than giving up Dinwiddie + FRP for AG. Why does this need to be spelled out to you? And Dinwiddie + FRP (which Nets don't even have) was not going to be enough anyway, Magic wanted a young player too.
there should be criteria one has to go through before being allowed to post. This forum (and the quality of posts) has lost it's touch for sure. I just spent a minute of my life reading a thread about Olynyk and how the GM is up to something.....
Uhhh, you called Dinwiddie that young player... I never said gordon should be go to Brooklyn. They didn't have the assets to get him... You argued for that and i called you out for it...
This message board doesn't like white players. You are correct in your analysis, but the mouthbreathers here won't see anything but white and ugly. I like him and hope we resign him. His BB IQ is off the charts.
