there are 150 starters. You don’t need to be a top 50 to be a solid starter. Top 50 would be a 2nd option in an average team

If the Rockets have the 3rd Pick Jalen Green has to be Selected due Youth, Speed, Health.

Being 19 years old and Kevin Porter Jr being 20 years old.

Eric Gordon and John Wall need to be traded in the offseason I have to believe.

Even if the Rockets Luck out with Cade Cunningham as the Top Pick.

John Wall and Eric Gordon are not needed since they are going to take away minutes from Cade Cunningham and Kevin Porter Jr minutes.

In order for John Wall to be traded, somebody will have to want him enough on his near 50 million a year contract to trade for him without requiring outgoing draft picks. That's pretty damned unlikely. Expect we have at least another full season with John Wall before he's able to POSSIBLY be moved as an expiring contract. Even then though, we'll likely just end up buying him out. That contract is MONSTROUS!

He’s good enough but not good enough to have his jersey retired at a Houston strip club

I honestly am not thinking about the future when watching him play. Who cares about that at this point. It's fun to watch the young guys improve and it will be fun to see which one of the 3 young guys will come in with a better jump shot.

Uhm the kid has potential. He's got nba range. Great court vision. Can defend. It really depends how much he wants it. The tools and fundamentals are there. It's what he does with it now.

That very same NBA team had Porter playing out of position at SF.

Cleveland giving up on such a young talent says more about that organization IMO.

If we somehow get lucky and end up with a top pick in the draft, I'd just straight up cut Wall tbh. I don't even care about the dead cap just don't want him getting his stink on our new star.

You lost me with his ability to defend. I have yet to see that. If anything he gets exposed on defense night after night.

I’m hoping for all star level at least.

They e gotta get John Wall out of his way though and hand him the reins.

He has potential to be better on defense.

Last season with Cavs, Porter was one of their best perimeter defenders.

I'd settle for Wall playing more SG when on floor with Porter.

He has the athletic ability and length to be a good defender.....but he's still 20. The part of defense he struggles with is the part that comes with experience.

I heard the same noise with Gerald Green when he was young. Despite his otherworldly athletic gifts he never figured out how to play solid defense.

KPJ is a more well rounded basketball player at 19 than Gerald ever was.

Green had nowhere near the ball handling skills of KPJ.
