I feel more confident than ever FL did it right. I also understand not every circumstance the same. For example, public transit is a serious issue. Just because NYC relies heavily on public transit doesn't mean every other state should react the same. During the fall/winter outbreak, FL stayed way below national average. Now they are trending a bit above national average, but still low. FL has about 25% vaccinated, lowering the age to 40+ this week and 16+ next week. California and NY have been a train wreck during this whole pandemic. I wont be surprised by June, the Biden administration will be moving on from the pandemic and going into sustainment mode....all for the sake of the economy.
Yeah, Florida is allowing the Covid spread to migrate all around the country when the spring breakers return home, just like Trump with his 67 Covidfest rallies around the country from June to December. Florida, Trump, and the majority of the GOP never gave a damn about the spread, or anything other than spreading their propaganda and trying to maintain their power and money. Your comparison is just ignorant. 10 of the most densely populated cities in the US top 25 are in California. None are in Florida. That's right, none! Florida only has 2 in the top 50, down at #37 and #48, and California has 14 of the most densely populated cities in the US. If you can't understand how that makes a huge difference then you choose to twist important facts in your mask/ lockdown vs no mask no lockdown theory. Your logic is tainted orange.

You instead went unhinged ranting about Spring Breakers. You do understand the entire coast of FL is not one big massive party for 6 weeks, right? We've been 100% open since last summer. People still mask most of the time, social distance and run restaurants at lower capacity. I am not going to apologize that FL had a little more faith in its populace and it worked out well for them.
