Would think he would be a move up target between 10 & 15 using the Portland, Milwaukee, and whatever pick they might acquire by dealing Oladipo.

Another guy who I'm interested in for his outside shot is Nah'Shon Hyland. I think he'd be a compliment to KJP as a bomber off the bench.

 

I think he’s off the board in the 8-12 range.

Maybe we can package POR’s hypothetical 16 pick with MIL’s 25 to move up.

Either way, he’s basically Joe Harris 2.0. I wouldn’t overpay to that extent.

 

i don't follow college players around, but shooting 3s means nothing if u can't do anything else. Harden isn't here anymore to attract everyone's attention for elite 3 snipers to shoot. Hence y bmac is meh currently

Perhaps, but he isn't a upside pick. Cooper isn't rated higher on mock drafts, but he is creative.

Would rather draft a burly, rebounding and shot blocking big man. Rockets already have five or six guys who can shoot outside. Get Christian Wood a reliever.

It's most likely a moot point anyway, unless they like him enough to trade up (they're not taking him 1-4, and if they lose that pick I don't see why they'd spend assets to move up).

I'd love to have Kispert on the team. He's not going to be your top scorer, but there's no doubt he could be a solid rotation piece on a playoff team. And his shooting could space the court to open up opportunities for others. JJ Reddick (upside) or Jason Kapono (downside) are probably the best comparables. Kispert is also still improving - I see him as a bit of a late bloomer.

I also like Drew Timme. His NBA comparison for me is Luis Scola. Beneath-the-rim player, but fundamentally rock solid and a good shooter. Very strong competitive spirit as well -- and a winner. If he can develop his 3-point shot, then he becomes very interesting.

 

I dont think any of those guys drove to that basket in a destructive manner.

 

Joe Harris 2.0?

 

I think that's his realistic comp. A strong starter, top-tier role player. Fits on any team. Gonzaga is the closest you're gonna get to NBA style of play in the NCAA, so its easier to envision what Kispert can do at the next level.

I don't see star upside, but when you're picking late lotto and onward, you're happy to end up with a guy that'll hold down a starter spot.

 

I like Kispert and think Harris is a great comp. Kispert is a solid wing defender too.

Is Juzang coming out? He would be my pick over Kispert.

 

I don't think he's declared yet. Could see him staying another year despite the great tournament run.

Curious as to why you'd take him over Kispert?

I'd say Dorian Finney-Smith is his floor. Not much star potential but that's ok for a mid 1st. I'd rather gamble on more upside but wouldn't be mad if we could get him somehow.
