Peek LMA is Blazers LMA. The Brandon Roy era. Back when he played with Roy, Oden and a young Nick Batum. He'll be remembered as a Blazer.
Man, if Roy stayed healthy and both Oden and Batum exceeded their potentials, that team (with LMA) would have been Finals contenders year in, year out.
Brandon Roy is that Special I wanted on the Rockets with Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming. In the 2009 NBA Draft, when the Rockets were in the Lottery unfortunately the Blazers selected him and the Rockets drafted Rudy Gay, I wanted to keep Rudy Gay. But traded for Shane Battier. Rockets Fans Love Shane Battier, But I liked Rudy Gay because of his Scoring and Carrying the Load. McGrady and Yao were injury prone at that time. Carroll Dawson will always be the Worst Rockets GM of All Time, So many bad Mistakes.
Miami has also dangled veterans Avery Bradley, Maurice Harklessand Meyers Leonard to match salaries as part of a trade package for San Antonio’s LaMarcus Aldridge, league sources told HoopsHype. The Heat would also have to add another minimum contract such as either Chris Silva or KZ Okpala and draft pick compensation to make a trade worthwhile for San Antonio. Miami is expected to have competition from several teams hoping to acquire Aldridge to improve their playoff chances. Some executives around the league who spoke with HoopsHype believe the Boston Celtics could join the mix to acquire Aldridge using their $28.5 million trade exception despite Danny Ainge recently suggesting the team will most likely use the exception during the offseason. Aldridge earns $24 million this season. The Celtics are roughly $19.9 million below the hard cap and would need to send out $4.1 million in salary to San Antonio to stay below the hard cap according to our salary cap expert Yossi Gozlan. https://hoopshype.com/lists/nba-trade-rumors-lamarcus-aldridge-kyle-lowry-ricky-rubio/
The only player that is definitely available that could significantly improve a team is Drummond. On the right teams, Drummond could make a Rasheed Wallace mid-season type impact. As a new, pseudo Nets' fan, I hope the Lakers don't get him. Aldridge could just add depth.
It's like an expendables of 2010s all stars on the Brooklyn bench with Blake, DJ and Aldridge all as role players
Blake looked pretty good. Nets are looking pretty unbeatable. I mean they have big 3 plus a pretty long cast of ring chasers. Might even take them over the warriors. I guess KDs recruiting skills are really good. Its not like harden could recruit anyone to houston.
Great move for Nets ... It's not what he will do for the Nets (which is absolutely nothing) but what he would do against them if he had signed elsewhere... He would be a matchup nightmare against them in spurts...
Harden about to revive another career. Look at Blake looking good again. Time to resuscitate Aldridge’s career
