    Have to squint just right.

Mr. Brightside also goes by the name of Kelly Olynyk.

    Shhhh, keep that on QT.

    LOL

Need to reestablish PnR as base for offense.

Especially in the 4th and to end quarters.

He gave us fits a couple of years back. But who knows what he's got nowadays?

Denver so loaded with bigs, Bol Bol doesnt see any play time.

If Rockets do not draft Mobley or any 4/5 in this draft, Stone should target Bol Bol.

Obligatory Scola "He Look Ok" meme. Olynyk is solid around the post. Not athletic but nimble for a big guy. Not a long term solution now or the future. A solid vet to help the young guys. Doesn't quite have the scoop like Scola did but will give us different looks.

Silas MUST to go back to these plays but with Porter as PG and Wall as SG.

Wall is more efficient on catch and shoot vs. iso or even PnR.

Otherwise opposing teams just form shell around paint and dare Wall to iso.

My hope is that maybe this FO is not as sophisticated in making trades and structuring a trade since Morey probably was the architect and leader behind that, but he probably had the existing guys evaluate players since there is too many people to follow so he had them do the grunt work, so maybe they are good at evaluating talent, maybe they are better than Morey at that? Who knows, I do know that I have seen certain GMs excel at one aspect of the job while simultaneously be underwhelming in other aspects. Maybe these guys are great at evaluating young talent and need to learn to negotiate? Although that is not what I would have expected from a guy with a Stanford Law degree, I would have expected him to be good at negotiating and poor at talent evaluation. I will give them a chance to see what they can do in this years draft before completely giving up on them.

Yet Morey having zero difficulty making trades with Sixers without Rockets "braintrust".

Cannot say the same for Rockets FO without Morey. Signing Wood was Morey's offseason strategy not Stone's.

    Coaching matters.

Silas has been incompetent with his rotations. Last night's 4th quarter fiasco is a microcosm of this whole season.

Silas usually shats the bed in the 3rd and 1st quarters, progress?

Tate's defense has been good. He can get physical with opponents when need be.
On offense, Tate can also get the occasional bucket near the rim.

While he can play the 5, the small line up can go in small doses for disruption. But IMO shouldn't be whole game; rebounding is always a concern.

He can be a natural forward; 3 or 4. Can have Wood/Wilson or Wood/Olynyk take turns on the 5 (and 4).

“Wall....terrible at P&R.” Exactly. He was passing last night as if he’d just been hit with a paternity suit. Get....your mind....in the GAME.

Brightside seems too strong. Perhaps a distant flicker at the end of an incredibly long tunnel.

Versatility in switch everything is critical. It's never really been about size but about skill.

Small ball narrative is a media invention.

    You say potay-toe I say potay-tah, it's just perspective.

Besides, I'm trying to be positive in the midst of this shitstorm. :D

He is actually one of the Rockets better starters.

Yep, and in any event we need the Jazz version if he ever is 100%.

    LOL

Are you ignoring that Rockets among multiple other teams were trying to acquire Dinwiddie at trade deadline.

But of course, you are more knowledgeable than Shams, Woj, Stein and all the NBA GM's amirite?

    What a fvckwad.
