Media really loves the Jim/Buddy Boeheim story. Hope he doesn’t get the superstar halo with officiating. Hope having less teams play this weekend means we will have a better sample of refs assigned to the game.
As much as it shouldn't be I could see this as a real issue. The more the refs let them play the better I like our chances.

Think the majority of the media will pick Syracuse, simply thinking that they have underperformed all season as a blueish blood, but in truth, and in reality, Syracuse has outperformed their expected level in the last two games. Not the reverse. Even the Syracuse fans know this. It's just a question of have they found something permanent or not. The latter is more likely true given they have no athletic freaks.
Cougars are better on paper, but anything can happen with that zone. If Syracuse is hot it will be a really tough game.
In the last 4 years the Coogs have 109 wins and only 23 loses under CKS . I think only Gonzaga has a better record. Anything can happen in the Big Dance but if there ever was a year for the Coogs to take this scar from my childhood this is the year. I realistically understand the odds of winning it all are long but this year they are actually with in reach. Getting a storied program playing well in the tournament like they Orangemen is what I look forward too. Let get that W tonight. Go Coogs
