Tony buzbee filing lawsuit against Deshaun Watson? Hints at mistreating women

OK we have now crossed the line into the absurd. Unless the woman's profession is getting paid to have sex, then once two people begin having sex, it no longer becomes a professional interaction.

I think the media is misconstruing this quote as an admission of consensual sex. The quote is: "A woman attempted to blackmail Deshaun by demanding $30,000 in exchange for her 'indefinite silence' about what she stated was a consensual encounter," Hardin's statement read. "This calls into question the legitimacy of the other cases as well."

Hardin says the woman said that there was a consensual encounter, not that Watson said there was a consensual encounter.

 

Isn't it illegal to be unlicensed massage therapist. Maybe that's why many of them didn't go to the police.

 

Oh, I think we've all seen enough details of these cases to know Deshaun has no problem reaching completion quickly.

“Today we filed case number twenty against Deshaun Watson,” Buzbee said on Friday night. “Voices will be heard. These cases will be resolved in court.”

Buzbee’s declaration implies that any efforts to resolve these claims will be rejected, and that all 20 cases will proceed to trial.

Via Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the four new cases have not yet been posted on the Harris County court’s website. Buzbee has said that he and his firm ultimately may file at least 24 cases.

 

Innocent or guilty, the fact that he made contact with at least 24 different women is pretty alarming in itself.

 

Honestly, I don't know. Most of the work I do is transactional, and the civil litigation in our office is corporate in nature. These are really like personal injury lawsuits.

 

I don't know about that. Shawn Kemp made about that many kids. These athletes probably see many many more women than that.


Buzzbee has no intentions of going to the courts. If he did, he wouldn't be tainting his own case publicly. He's trying to scare Watson into giving up money by threatening his reputation publicly. I'm not a lawyer, but I don't need to be to see this.

This is why people view some lawyers as scumbags. No offense to those guys that are lawyers on here. I respect you all.

And also, that's not a defense of Watson, just an observation in general.

 

His character is already assassinated and nothing he can do now could keep him out of jail if it comes to that.

Paying for sex does not make it non professional.

His only goal should be to keep his contract.
